The Working to Advance Science and Technology Education for African Women (WAAW) Foundation Scholarship empowers female college students in Africa to pursue their studies in STEM-related fields. This scholarship allows recipients to concentrate on achieving their academic goals while also volunteering to give back to their communities. Scholars will have the opportunity to promote women’s engagement in STEM through the STEM Outreach Chapter at their university.

Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the WAAW Foundation Scholarship, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Be a female student of African origin, residing and studying in Africa.
- Should be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program.
- Studying STEM-related courses at a university or college in Africa.
- Be a first or second-year student or a third-year student in a five-year course.
- Demonstrate financial need.
- Maintain an excellent academic record.
- Show proven leadership, volunteering, and community service experience.
- Be below the age of 32 years.
