YOCA organizes a range of career development events and opportunity fairs intending to connect young people to various available opportunities. These events provide a platform for participants to:

– Gain insights into the latest industry trends and requirements
– Develop essential skills and knowledge to enhance their employability

– Career Guidance Workshops
– Job Shadowing Programs
– Internship Placement Fairs
– Apprenticeship Opportunities
– Entrepreneurship Boot Camps
– Education Forums (NEFs) – physical and online platforms for securing scholarships and bursaries in Uganda and abroad
These events and fairs are designed to empower youths with the necessary tools and connections to succeed in their chosen careers/interests and to provide a supportive environment for them to explore their potential.
Founded in 2017, YOCA is an independent, registered, youth-friendly not-for-profit social enterprise. As the largest forum in Uganda focused on youth career development, work, and employment, we are dedicated to unlocking endless opportunities for young people. We empower secondary school, vocational, and university students with the knowledge, skills, and resources they need to succeed in their educational and career journeys.
