The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in collaboration with the Hungarian Government is pleased to offer a unique opportunity to study in Hungary with full financial support. It is designed for individuals with a strong academic background and a commitment to advancing their expertise in agriculture and related fields.

Scholarship Benefits
The scholarship fully covers the following expenses:
- Application and tuition fees (including basic books and notes).
- Dormitory accommodation.
- Subsistence costs.
- Health insurance.
Note: This scholarship only covers student expenses. Family members are not supported under this programme.
Who is Eligible?
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Hold citizenship and residency in one of the eligible countries (listed below).
- Possess a strong academic track record.
- Demonstrate proficiency in English (for English-taught courses).
- Exhibit a clear motivation to advance agricultural and food security efforts in their home country.
- Maintain good health.
- Be preferably under 30 years old.

Application Process
The selection process follows two phases:
- Phase 1:
- FAO will review applications and submit complete dossiers to the Ministry of Agriculture of Hungary.
- The Ministry will forward applications to the respective universities.
- Incomplete dossiers will not be considered.
- Phase 2:
- Shortlisted candidates may need to take a written or oral English examination.
- Universities will conduct the final selection.
- The Ministry of Agriculture will officially notify successful candidates.
